I'm in my early 30s and recently decided to stop repressing the fact that I'm bisexual. I grew up religious so for the longest time I pretended it just didn't exist. I have a lot of shame attached to my identity. Does this go away? Will it feel better when I come out to people I'm close with?

i think that you have to outgrow a lot of your internalised biphobia and your shame. and for me personally talking to other bi people really helped. and if you can, coming out definitely helps in validating yourself. and we’re always here to remind you that you’re bi, you’re queer and you’re awesome
